Crow Tongue "ghost eye seeker" is released in stores tomorrow!

Dark Holler and Hand/Eye are pleased to announce Woven Wheat Whispers as the official and approved digital distribution service for our releases. Some of our releases will be available from other services (iTunes, Rhapsody, Amazon mp3, etc), but ALL of our releases approved for digital distribution will be available from Woven Wheat Whispers. Additionally, you can be sure if you see our realeases on Woven Wheat Whispers, that it is legal and label-approved.

Some of our releases are not going to be available for digital distribution, by request of the artist. we will, of course, always honor this.

Crow Tongue's "The Red Hand Mark" and "Prophecies and Secrets: The Red Hand Mark in Dub" are both available NOW from Dark Holler mailorder. In stores April 22, 2008.

Ghost Eye Seeker from Crow Tongue is available now.

This will be followed shortly by two more Crow Tongue albums:
"The Red Hand Mark" presents an album which comes much closer to the Crow Tongue live sound - based mainly on guimbri-banjo and drums. Heavy, primitive, tribal...
and "Prophecies and Secrets: the Red Hand Mark in dub" is the source material from the "Red Hand Mark" sessions reimagined and reassembled into something wholly new. Not a traditional dub album, but an experimental assemblage using the techniques and exploratory spirit of dub to create something new from tracks already put to tape.

Speaking of dub: we've added some essential dub and roots reggae titles to the catalog from the likes of Lee "Scratch" Perry and the Upsetters; Twilight Circus Sound System; Yabby U; Augustus Pablo; and Michael Rose. This may seem like a bit of a sidestep for us, but it's music we completely love and we feel it fits comfortably beside other psychedelic and experimental musics from genres represented here.

Crow Tongue will be playing with OVO on May 3, 2008 at the Shamrock in Belair Maryland.
